It's not just who we are, but why.
Continuing to uphold the Tripod
Phi Sigma Pi National Honor Fraternity is based on a Tripod of ideals: scholarship, fellowship, and leadership. Our group holds dear that these three ideals are the key to living a successful life. Improving one's self is not enough; it is our responsibility to use our collective talents to improve our communities as we improve ourselves.
The Middle Tennessee Alumni Chapter continues this effort by bringing together members living in the Middle Tennessee area who seek to continue their journey to be a better self and to affect the world around us.
Phi Sigma Pi is a gender-inclusive honor fraternity that seeks to include the best and brightest college students across the country to work together in our ongoing journey through this world. MTAC also extends membership to those in our community who share in these ideals and wish to join us in our mission. Our members are "Brothers," recognizing that the bonds of fraternal fellowship extend beyond any personal labels.

ScholarshipUnderstanding our world is critical to understanding our place within that world. As scholars, we use our time and focus to share the lessons we have learned.

FellowshipOur group is only as strong as the bonds that we share. By strengthening the connections between us, we in turn strengthen ourselves.

LeadershipTrue leadership is focused on serving those you lead. It is through service to others that we leave our greatest mark on the world and celebrate the leadership within us.

How is an Alumni Chapter different than my Undergraduate Chapter?
We recognize that the transition to being an alumnus or alumna is one of the most important anyone will have. While alumni chapters want to be active and provide support to our Brothers, we also realize that life's responsibilities pull us all in different directions. Alumni chapters are generally not as busy as collegiate chapters and do not have the same financial expectations as undergraduate Brothers may be used to.
MTAC generally tries to have 1 or 2 events each month but does not have any attendance requirements or expectations. Any Alumni or Honorary Brother can join in our events. Many events are open to Undergraduate Brothers as well, and we encourage any Undergraduate Brother in their last year of study to join us at any event. Even active members are free to come only to those events they wish. Our goal is to provide events that people want to come to, rather than setting requirements.
We have a quarterly business meeting where active members come together to handle Chapter business and plan our next quarter's events. We also send a delegate to Grand Chapter each year to maintain a voice in the ongoing journey of our Fraternity.

Brothers, let us make our pilgrimage together...
MTAC is based in Murfreesboro, TN with events mostly between there and Nashville. We invite any members of Phi Sigma Pi and their guests to join us as we plan events and enjoy each other's company!
Active membership requires being an current member of the National Alumni Association and remaining current with annual Chapter dues. Members joining for the first time are exempt from the first year's Chapter dues, so you have plenty of opportunity to see if being an active member works for you!
